Annotation

Education is viewed as a combination of a certain pattern rules in the activities of instructors. The educational pattern is dependent on the relationships between the instructor and the student. This article makes the comparative analysis of the pedagogic and adragogic modåls of education peculiar to foreign and home scholars on the basis of theoretical principles of education. The status of the student within the pedagogic pattern generally differs from that of the andragogic pattern. The author gives a number of practical recommendations related to the education according to the andragogic pattern of education. The realization of the andragogic pattern is realized with the help of active methods of education. It is designed to develop creative and critical way of thinking in an adult student.
