WAYS OF DEVELOPING FUNCTIONAL LITERACY OF PUPILS STUDYING HUMANITARIAN DISCIPLINES

Annotation

Development of functional literacy is one of the important components of the educational process. This article reveals the essence of the definition of functional literacy, the structure of functional literacy including such components as communicative, informational, activity-oriented and reflex-motivational. Ways of developing functional literacy of students studying humanitarian disciplines are suggested in the article: active interaction, demonstration of computer presentation, doing exercises, poetic ways of storing orthograms and rules.
