OPTIMIZATION OF THE CONTENT AND STRATEGIES OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING FORESTRY BACHELORS’ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
Annotation
The purposes and tasks of professionally significant foreign language teaching to Bachelors in the field of Forestry are analysed in connection with transition to the international two-level higher educational system. Much attention is paid to the problem of optimization of language training from the point of view of the competence approach. The author also considers subjective and objective reasons and preconditions of expediency of choice of methods of teaching foreign languages on the basis of activitiy technologies and active involvement of students into the educational process. The given article suggests a qualifier of task types directed at the formation of professionally significant language competences of future specialists in the field of Forestry.Key words
