RUSSIAN EDUCATION AS A PART OF TRANS-BORDER RELATIONS

Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of the new Russian relations and strategy in the sphere of education and culture. The system of Russian higher education has been included into multidirectional and multispeed process of integration with European and Asian countries. Along with traditional partner cooperation Russia has formed new strategic alliances and partnerships within which a new system of educational cooperation is shaping. Statistical data depicted on shows that the number of foreign students from bordering states of Europe has a stable tendency to decrease while the number of students from Asia is gradually increasing. Meanwhile SCO member-states demonstrate the greatest interest to the Russian educational system and Russian-Chinese vector of cooperation is seen at present as the most dynamic one.
