Annotation

Article proves the effectiveness of development of language communicative competence, critical thinking and creativity of students with the help of audiovisual arts (video and animation). Integration of audiovisual arts into foreign language teaching makes the studying material more available, contributes to the realization of creative abilities of the high school students in the sphere of audiovisual arts, guarantees high motivation of the students, helps to see the problem from different sides and find an adequate solution of it. The above mentioned qualities and skills are necessary for young generation for life and work in conditions of appearing of new technologies.
