Annotation

The article is devoted to the school subject called «Crafts and Technology». The author revels content of this educational area and describes technological components of the labor training which include not only practical skills training, but also studying materials, technologies, design and general technical knowledge creating a complete view of a technocratic society surrounding us. Transition from a subject «Labor Training » to educational area «Crafts and Technology» means also transition from object of technology as material process to object of technology as multidimensional value which also includes such concepts, as «energy» and «information».
