LINGUOCULTURAL APPROACH AS MEANS OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF SCHOOLCHILDREN DURING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Annotation

This article deals with the functional peculiarities of a foreign language in the process of patriotic education, it’s potential for developing a devoted attitude to both, home and foreign cultures. The value of linguistic diversity as a means of patriotic education implemented alongside with deductive teaching is treated as a tool for understanding the culture of the native land. The key issue of the article is linguocultural approach as a means of patriotic education of high school children during extracurricular activities which the author defines as teaching a language through adopting vivid patterns of Dagestan and Russian cultures. The article observes forms and methods of intercultural communication and tolerance in cultural dialogue context.
