Annotation

While doing the research the author carefully studied works on psychology, which allowed her to give a definition of personal space as an integrated complex psychological unity and the result of personal development that ensures inviolability, identity, opportunities for self-representation, protection from any negative influence from the outside. A peculiar feature of personal space is its polyfunctional. Thus the functions it performs are the following: identifying, representative, protective and monitoring.
