ARRANGING LEISURE LIBRARY ACTIVITIES FOR POPULATION

Annotation

Innovative processes connected with the society informatization, according to the author, have not weakened attention to a library as to a leisure center for population. Leisure activity of libraries draws the increasing attention from the point of view of library theory and practice. The article provides definition of the term «library activity», reveals problems of its arrangement in a library practice, problems of vocational training of library experts in questions of the library leisure activities. The author presents fragments of the local research carried out on the basis of municipal libraries of Belgorod area.
