Annotation

The article deals with pedagogical conditions of developing multicultural competence of youth as part of teaching culture of interethnic communication. The article focuses on understanding the existing priority to use ethno-pedagogical traditions of the North-Caucasian region in developing the key component of culture of interethnic communication – multicultural competence. The author singles out the following basic components of multicultural competence: cognitive, activity based, needs and –motives and values and notions.
