Annotation

The article deals with the road safety competence and its development in future specialists. Competence development is based on modular competence-based approach and includes: a set of principles, a model of regional training system of road safety, drive-simulator technology and pedagogical conditions for its implementation, monitoring road safety competence development, criteria and stages of this competence development in students.
