Annotation

The article is devoted to the issue of spiritual and moral education of students in higher education establishments that enables students to develop their personal qualities and priorities ensuring the country safety. Such education is described as based on a personality-oriented approach in education. The article discusses problems of personal and state information security and the impact of new information and communicative technologies. The authors analyzes the current state of the issue of students’ education and upbringing processes in higher education establishments and points out the ways to solve it. The authors emphasize the advantage of a new approach to upbringing in the higher school and indicate the prospects for its further development and implementation.
