Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of scientific approaches to developing scientifically-methodical grounding for work of school libraries. The author lays emphasis on its scientifically-analytical, informational, organizational, administrative, and professional components. The article deals with the questions of modern conditions of scientifically-methodical grounding for libraries of various departmental affiliations under conditions of decentralization. Scientifically-methodical grounding of a school library is defined as a fundamental basis of library innovations. The author proves it necessary to work out independent concept of developing scientifically-methodical grounding for libraries performance in the context of modern trends in general education.
