Annotation

The article is devoted to the issues of forming and developing research competence trained as part of exploratory-research activity. The author presents detailed definition of the term “research competence”. Basic stages of carrying out educational research and methodical conditions providing the development of thinking as well as research competence are also described. The article also touches upon criteria for research competence estimation.
