DEVELOPING INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE PRESCHOOL TEACHERS

Annotation
The article is devoted to the problem of preparing future preschool teachers, developing their intercultural competence. The author convincingly proves acute character of competence based approach for higher vocational pedagogical education. According to the author, the urgency to develop the specified competence is caused by special character of professional work of a preschool teacher in a poly-ethnic kindergarten. The article pays special attention to intercultural competence of a teacher which plays a huge role during interaction with representatives of other cultures. The detailed analysis of the research works, devoted to intercultural competence studies, is provided in the article. The author considers key features of intercultural competence, stages of its development; refers to the data of the questionnaire offered to students of speciality “Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology”.Key words
