Annotation

The given article dwells on the problems of vocational training in view of the analysis of traditional education system and innovative processes taking place in modern domestic education. The author reveals some positive features of traditional education: attention to the choice of future trade, developing responsible attitude to work, coordination of steps in education, adequacy of received knowledge to the requirements of manufacture. The article also considers some global processes influencing the development of the system of modern vocational training. The author also describes factors, mechanisms, directions, criteria, system of values aimed at optimization of negative tendencies in labor market and directions on efficiency increase and quality improvement of higher education system. The scientific and practical importance of research is also stated.
