Annotation

The article is devoted to the issue of cultural-dialogical development of preschool children under conditions of bilingualism. The topical character of the question under study is predetermined by the fact that in certain regions of Russia interaction between cultures, bilingualism and poly-lingualism have become the norm of people’s life. Thus, the author stresses many-sided nature of the concept “bilingualism”. The author presents definition of the term “bilingualism” in the context of research and methodological approaches to studying the problem of cultural-dialogical development of preschool children. Methodological approaches, in opinion of the author, are the following: social-cultural, lingual-cultural and ethno-cultural. The author gives brief outline of the given approaches.
