ROLE OF ACADEMIC DRAWING IN MODERN SYSTEM OF TRAINING TEACHERS-PAINTERS IN CHINA

Annotation

The article deals with the system of training students of art specialities in China, in particular “Gokhua” and “oil-painting”. The author gives a detailed account of the history of modern Chinese school of teaching fine arts and lays emphasis on the important role of the system of principles and teaching methods that developed in traditional academic system of art education in this process. The author also proves it relevant to master skills of realistic manner of drawing for training teachers-artists in Chinese higher school.
