Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of remaining knowledge in mathematics of first year students of pedagogical specialities. The carried out research is based on the test developed by the experts. In order to improve quality of training, the authors offer to use popular computer tests. The article dwells on variants of test tasks, purposes and problems of computer testing, merits and demerits of test technologies. Computer testing is considered not only as means of control, but also as means of increasing efficiency of educational process. Besides, the authors present basic content of the discipline called “Basis of mathematical processing of information”.
