Annotation

The article deals with the purposes of initial vocational training. The choice of purposes taxonomy components of initial vocational training is proved relevant. The developed purposes taxonomy for developing cognitive independence of pupils of initial vocational training has complex structure and enables to provide successfully an all-around development of the person able to plan, solve and predict industrial problems independently. The verified set of components will permit to evaluate levels, stages of pupils’ cognitive independence of initial vocational training in future.
