Annotation

The article deals with pedagogical conditions of developing competence of teachers in terms of sex-role education of children of preschool age. Competence sex-role education means mastering theoretical knowledge in the field of educa ting children of different sexes by a teacher, means of knowledge and description of this knowledge, their application in practical activities. The author offers criteria and levels of competence of teachers in terms of sex-role education of preschool children, organizational aspects of vocational training process of teachers aimed at work in sex-role education of children in conditions of pre-school educational establishments.
