INDEPENDENCE OF MODERN HIGH SCHOOL PUPILS IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY, RELATIONS WITH PARENTS AND PEERS
Annotation
The article raises the problem of developing independence as subjective quality at high school age and its displays in educational activity and communication of high school pupils with their parents and peers. Empirical research shows that high school pupils possess quite high independence potential. However, disharmony of children-parental relations, reflected in psychological dependence of senior pupils on parents in the form of negativism and dependence itself, forms dependent traits of character which may further lead to inability to make decisions and take responsibility, to some difficulties of controlling one’s emotions while communicating with peers.Key words
