CHILDREN SOCIAL MOVEMENT OF THE REGION – ONE OF THE WAYS TO DEVELOP CULTURE OF INTERETHNIC COMMUNICATION (EXEMPLIFIED BY STAVROPOL REGION)

Annotation

The article states that children social movement is one of the important social institutions of education and socialization. The author describes the reasons of regionally specific features of children movements. The most burning issues of functioning of children organizations are stated (fostering tolerance, culture of interethnic communication). The author provides historical background of developing culture of interethnic communication and describes experience and tendencies of activity of children public organizations and associations in the given area.
