COMPETENCE APPROACH IN MODERN SCHOOL EDUCATION IN GERMANY

Annotation

The article considers the concept “competence” in the German theory of education. The author analyses the conceptual term “competence”, which implies such types of competence as “personal competence”, “social competence”, “methodological competence”, “learning competence”, “segment competence”, “complex competence” and “meta-cognitive competence”. The article describes several approaches towards simulating competence models implemented by German teachers and towards testing these approaches in real-life activities.
