FEATURES OF TACTILE SENSORY SKILLS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Annotation

The article deals with tactile sensory skills of younger school children as specific units of their perceptual sphere. The author presents factor and criteria based model for assessment of tactile abilities and the tasks for their diagnostics. The author analyses the way children distinguish between physical and mechanical properties of objects, the way they use and understand the corresponding verbal notions, quality of distinction and reproduction of objects having complicated shape from the point of view of haptic inspection. The levels of tactile abilities of elementary school pupils developed in modern pedagogical experience are revealed.
