Annotation

According to the authors, informatization of education initiates search for new ways to take advantage of means of information and communication technologies (ICT) in order to increase efficiency of educational process. The authors find it relevant to impose new requirements to professional training of experts in ICT sphere, organizers of educational process in higher educational institutions in particular. However, there is certain contradiction between the current state of professional development of this group of pedagogical workers, which isn’t based on competence-based approach to training and isn’t focused on application of ICT means in professional activity, and the need to identify levels of ICT competence in organizational, administrative, technological, information and analytical activity of educational process organizers in higher educational institutions.
