FEATURES OF THE NOTIONAL LAYER OF THE WORLD VIEW OF REPRESENTATIVES OF EUROPEAN NATIONS

Annotation

The article carries out analysis of the researches aimed at studying the image of the world of representatives of Russian, French and Italian nationalities. The concept “world view” is one of the important components of culture, as the authors state. The main approaches to the concept “world view” in national and foreign cross-cultural psychology are described. Results of the research focused on revealing the dominating type of the world view of representatives of Russian, French and Italian nationalities as well as the results of comparative analysis of the notional layer of planetary type of the world image of people of Europe are described in the article. The authors draw conclusions that notional layer of representatives of the French nationality with planetary type of the world view is characterized by interest and positive attitude to the world around, creative orientation and emotional stability.
