COMPARISON OF GENERAL SCIENTIFIC AND HUMANITARIAN DIRECTIONS OF STUDYING PERSONAL SAFETY

Annotation

In the article the author considers safety to be one of the fundamental categories of life and the most desired attribute of existence. It is shown that safety is vulnerable to the effect of some endogenous and exogenous factors. Two basic directions of researches into safety issues are considered: general scientific and humanitarian. The basic directions of general scientific study of safety are named and described. Among them are: safety as the integral characteristic of any living object; preservation of safety conditions which provide security of object and achievement of safety. Being the basic attribute of safety in general scientific tradition, security demands preservation of integrity and stability of existence from the object. It is shown that individual safety stands for the opportunity to realize the main vital purpose for a person.
