TELECOMMUNICATION PROJECTS AS THE WAY TO DEVELOP COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF TEENAGE PUPILS

Annotation

The author gives a brief description to information society and defines the concepts “virtual space” and “Internet communication” of teenagers in social networks, specifying their merits and demerits. The paper emphasizes a special role of the Internet in personality development and socialization. The article provides analytical information on Internet users, describes negative aspects of the impact of information environment on teenage pupils. The author defines project activity and states the heart matter of project cooperation as well as components of communicative competence. The article argues that telecommunication project, being one of the forms of the traditional project method, is an effective tool of work in information educational space. The author draws conclusions about the importance of telecommunication projects in development of the personality and regards them as means of forming communicative competence of teenagers in the context of modern communications.
