Annotation

The article deals with the issues of regional character of education and making pre-school children familiar with regional culture (as exemplified by Transbaical area). The article reveals pedagogical potential of elements of local lore literary study as means of acquaintance with regional culture. The regional component of education is implemented into educational space of a certain region through regional culture and literary study of local lore. The presented in the article work experience enables to draw the conclusion on efficiency and necessity of such work in pre-school educational establishments.
