ACQUIRING COMPETENCES: OPPORTUNITIES OF EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL INFORMATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS

Annotation

The article deals with the problem of acquiring by students general professional competence and specific competences specified in the Federal State Educational Standard as obligatory requirements to education results. It is shown that a number of the competences specified in FSES can’t be developed by teaching staff since competence is a personal new growth which is formed as a result of achievements or understanding, as a result of balance between the knowledge received at universities and personal experience which can’t be transferred from one person to another. The arising contradiction between the requirements of the standard and conservative way of educational systems which are based on outdated paradigms of science can’t be overcome within educational systems only. In this regard, the authors consider opportunities offered by informal educational environment, in particular, the digital informational environment.
